YoungDragun's Art from Way Way Back
« on: June 19, 2009, 10:30:01 PM »
This was from back In "94" when I lived in Chicago and use to tag. Alot of my stuff got water damaged, you can see in the upper right corner. These are some of the few that survived. If I find more I'll share.

This is a Wolverine I did back in "91".

This was a character concept I had back in my "Manga" phase in "92" I inked it in "94"

This was an anatomy sketch from around "93 or 94"

I had lots more that got distroyed of Pitt, Savage dragon, Spawn, Spiderman, And tons more. I wish I had a plastic bin to store these in long ago before they got water damaged. Well thats all I have for now, just wanted to show my artistic side. Peace.

PS. This is the only place ever that I have shown these except to my friends and family in person. This is big for me to show this.

Those are pretty dang good. I like the Wolverine a lot. I swear, hair and curves in perspective are the hardest thing for me to do, and they both look really good in the Woverine one. Have you ever tried airbrushing also. I just got one and there's tons of cool stuff you can pull off with one of those. Cool drawings though, be sure to show some more if you find any.

yea, thinks for sharing. first thing i though of is, this is pretty good and wondered about the comments you've made to me about that artistic ability translating into the sprite side of mugen creation.

Thanks Shul, most of these were sketches that I was trying my hand at inking and why these were in better shape as opposed to the rest that got distroyed by water and those were fully colored and were more elaborate. I wish I could find the drawing I made of pitt cause that one I was going to tattoo on me but I can't find it anymore. :(

Thanks Spook. :)

Yeah buddy I was thinking of one day doing an entire character from sketches like guyver was made, so who knows, maybe one day. :)

Thank you to everyone who has commented I feel better now about sharing these as these were the lower end of my art. Peace.

I have a couple of air brush kits that I got awhile back for one of my B-days but i have never used either of them, one day I will Though cause I want to air brush a custom image on my 86 buick Grand national. :D

So since you said this was the lower end of the spectrum of the work and it was a hit, does that mean you will show off more stuff?

For those who are curious, yes I am gone and I don't intend to be back soon. I never formally said goodbye to you all, because that always becomes a forum stink. However, to my friends here, I wish you the best. Perhaps I'll be back one day but for now this is goodbye.

Yeah thats one of them. I blew the motor while driving to work on the expressway hauling tail, it has been sitting on the side of my house for about 2 years now wait'n on me to rip out the motor and go through it to see what went wrong. I was boosting about 20 to 22 psi and these motors are notorius for oil pump problems, I think it took a dump and or a valve dropped, either way the motor is locked up and it won't turn over anymore. Thanks for the compliment.

Original Uncolored

Colored version (I used Paint to try and color this many years back) I never finished it cause I lost interest
