MAME:

I'd advise you to use WinKawaks though, it's easier when you want to rip sprites/sounds:

ROMs are here:

You have to make sure that you put all the games (ROMS) in the ROMS folder. You may also have to configure it to work on your computer depending on the system you have.

Some MAME's have a bios folder other emulators need certain bios to be in the Roms folder. I know for sure is the neogeo bio. That one needs to be in the roms folder.

Dont forget you might have to unzip the file. Then look for a bios folder. If there is'nt one put it in the rom folder and see if thatt works.

try WinKawaks and the Neo-Geo Bios.

You have to include the files of the BIOS into the .rar of your game for it to be recognized properly.
sucks I know.

I run mame.exe and I have nothing.

All the newer roms of games can be demanding on your system so if your ram is low and you cpu processor some games will lag like a bit@# and some won't play at all. I have mame running on my modded original Xbox along with kawaks and a few other arcade emulator, I also have KI and KI2 on its own emulator as well as Red Earth on its own as well that can play SFIII Third Strikw as well and they work quite well but because the ram and processor are low on the Xbox they play well but kind of slow. :)  If you have a modded Original Xbox I could load a pack that has Mame working with over a thousand roms. :)

The one I had plays all those. But its one of the newest ones and some of the roms I had before dont work with out some extra files. MameUI32 130.3 is what i have now. I would give you the previous one I had too but I dont remember the version cause my pc is in storage. You might one to keep both.

I want to start a mame section in Video Games for trading and other things but Ive been holding out cause of my pc is gone.

Well, you'll need the most up to date MAME setup and the game rom. Here is a site to download the emulator itself: http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/arcade/mame.html and as far as the rom goes you'll have to PM me and ask for a link as roms are not very legal to have posted about. :)

you sure. i think its okay unless they request that it be removed. which is why its hard to find roms like super mario world. the whole reason for emu is to keep old games alive. And Im sure some companies understand that. which is why I think sonic games are still downloadable. I would still buy the sega collection though.
