Portrait change help for Johnny_DC chars

When I try to change the select screen port for his Martian Manhunter and Fire, I get a message about access denied.

Why is that and can I change it?

in old version of MM i had this problem to edit his sff, i tink is because of  ' , i renamed it to ajax.sff and then i edited his sff

He puts a lock on things sometimes. Bizarre considering its an edit of Genis-vel

havent tried zvitor's fix yet, but that wouldn't be the case for fire, so that must be this lock alex speaks of.

that said, is there an ability to unlock whatever?

open him with FF, then minimize. Go into the character folder in MUGEN, and delete everything in it. Now go back into FF, and save the character. It will ask you if you want to save each file, just click yes. Now when you re-open it the locks will be gone.

Yeah he hid and locked the sprites file. he made the sprite file hidden meaning you can't see it. Well in Martian Man hunter case.

so both the name change thing and the deleting files with FF open did not work.

Open the sprite with fighting factory once you have done that. At the top of fighting factory click Save AS. Save that sprite with a different name. Make sure you change the sprite name in the def for the the new sprite you just saved.
