I think I know the problem but I'd like some 3rd party opinion on the matter. I use a DVDVideoSoft's Free Studio, which I got from Cnet (and I recommend it by the way), that allows me to rip Videos from youtube and turn them into Mp3 files. When I first got the programme, I made all of the Mp3 files standard stereo quality, which never had skipping problems on my MUGEN, in fact it still doesn't. But when I found out I could switch it to mono and save about 4 MB in memory per 4 minute sound, I thought it was a good way to save memory. But I recently discovered that all of my mono tracks skip while my stereo songs only skip if the sound is interrupted by clicking outside of the mugen window. I should also note that the programme calls the low-quality mono "Economic Quality". Has anybody had similar issues with low quality sound or is this just a coincidence?
