i've yet to find a screen pack that enables team co-op. It just lets player one select a character and then won't let player two select one or let you start the game. I was wondering if theres a way to enable the mode if its not included in the screenpack. Or if someone knows of a screenpack that does enable it.
For those who are curious, yes I am gone and I don't intend to be back soon. I never formally said goodbye to you all, because that always becomes a forum stink. However, to my friends here, I wish you the best. Perhaps I'll be back one day but for now this is goodbye.

I believe this option is a standard feature to Mugen. Make sure that in the system.def it has it listed in this portion of of coding:

This is taken from EVE SP;
[Title Info]
cursor.move.snd = 100,0
cursor.done.snd = 100,1
cancel.snd = 100,2
menu.pos = 159,143
menu.item.font = 5,0,0
menu.item.active.font = 4,0,0
menu.item.spacing = 0, 11
; Names for each of the items in the menu. Names must be in quotes.
menu.itemname.arcade = "ARCADE"
menu.itemname.versus = "VS"
menu.itemname.teamarcade = "TEAM"
menu.itemname.teamversus = "TEAM VS"
menu.itemname.teamcoop = "TEAM EX"
<----- Make sure this is enabled and make sure there is no ; in front of the title in "" or in front of this line.
menu.itemname.survival = "SURVIVAL"
menu.itemname.survivalcoop = "SURVIVAL EX"
menu.itemname.training = "TRAINING"
menu.itemname.watch = "WATCH"
menu.itemname.options = "OPTIONS"
menu.itemname.exit = "EXIT"

What Sp are you using? Try taking a clean copy of Mugen ( one of the newest versions) and take the "data" ( Don't just copy over the data folder but use the system.def and related files and place them in appropriate folders and such) from the no-working one and place it in the fresh copy and see if that works.

I am indeed running vista, although I don't particularly want to be. :(

I love vista's look but I hate that it is so flawed, It has alot of nice features but screws you out of programs you like or frequently use.  >:(

ya i've noticed . it seems it gives me new reasons to hate it every day. btw, the team coop on the download you just gave me doesn't work so your probably right about it being vista related.

OK its confirmed the version I gave you is crap like most of the versions of WinMugen out there circulating, I will give you my personal Mugen files loaded with MBC, this is the same pack I've given out before to someone else, this pack has always been the best one I have used, it has never crashed on me like the others do. I don't remeber which version it was I downloaded so thats why I'll just send you a copy of mine cause I keep this on my desktop as I don't remember which version of WinMugen I compiled it with. Anyways I can confirm that this works in team-coop mode as I just tried it out for myself, now if this doesn't work then it is indeed a Vista problem.

good news not a vista problem  :D . it works as a standalone. bad news is I can't figure out how to make it work in my game. I tried copying the system.def over and still had the same problem.

I'll bet i'm probably just being dumb because I'm a bit of a luddite compared to you. Got any useful advice???

Ok so the pack I sent you works however you tried to compile it with your version and it gave you the same result as when you first posted here. Send me your pack but exclude only the chars,sounds and stages folders and I'll see whats wrong you cheeky monkey.

actually I figured it out by doing it the other way around. (transferring select.def, chars, stages.etc ) so I'm set  :)

Once again I'm in your debt. How bout if I repay you by adding a wip of your choice to my list with second priority to spawn.
