disabling the A.I
« on: July 19, 2009, 01:36:53 AM »
I am having a bit of a problem with apoc Punisher, for some reason he will attack me in training mode considering he is not set to cpu attack. When I get close to him he starting attacking out of nowhere. I assume it has to do with A.I. I want to know how do I disable his A.I ;)

I have never come across with that character, what version of Mugen are you using?

He released an updated version at the end of June, but he announced it in the WIP topic instead of the release topic.

@GuNStArHeRo  yeah I know what you mean. The intro needs to be fixed two from what I understand

Actually I made a mistake it was last updated on May 29

New Update (again)  [-X
Sendspace: http://www.sendspace.com/file/o6322o

Whats added from the post link above:

**AI ACTIVATION!! Punisher can stand his own!

**New triggers to reduce Specials from air activation.

-Still has pallete issues (grenade moves, uzi, Punisher van). (Minor issue; I have all the sprites, i'll unshare it's pallette. Added to my master list)

-Explosion sprite for mine is still cut off at the top. (Minor issue; Soon to be replaced. Added to my master list)

-Mine placement could use a sound. (Minor Issue, me and/or R@ce45 may have a sound replacement for it)

-During aerial combos, you're able to pull off some specials (knife throw, gun specials) that make Pun get stuck in the air. (Interminate issue; I've already started with the update above to add triggers not allowing avtivation of gun/special attacks in air.)

Thanks for the feed.

I don't know if apoc intention was to make the A.I like that, but that what it says. I found this quote here

I'll check it out and post a fix when I get a chance. There are a lot of coding issues going around that I seem to fix a lot lately.  :) I think I'm going to go to school for game design and see if I can get a job doing this stuff. Now if only I could sprite, then I'd be happy.

Thanks man I appreciate it we need more people like you in the Mugen Community. Apparently Mugen support now a days look dead to me at other forum. ;)

Hey don't go bashing the other forums now, they can't help it if they suck. :) Anyways here's the update to the character, Just unzip this file and delete the existing one that is in the "command" folder of the Punisher and copy/move this one in its place and all will be fixed. :) Peace.
