You all have heard the term in Mugen obviously. I was just wondering what your definition of such is.

Actually no it someone who wants character, stages, etc and they keep requesting and give nothing back to the community. Put it this way everyone was a leecher when they started out. :D :D

i'd say its more like someone who doesn't add anything to the community. >:( There's lots of ways to do that other than creating. Testing, reviewing, leaving feedback than helps. I wouldn't call anyone who does those kind of things a leecher. :)

thats close to my beliefs, any type of contributions to the community helps it grow.

Well a lot of the old school creators used the term to refer to anyone they didn't like, so I dont think leecher really meant anything.

In the meantime there are actually some people who fit that description, and just take, beg for characters, and then try to trade when they come across something rare.

However I think the term was thrown out into the community simply as an insult.

BINGO! Tell him what he's won! ;D
Yep, that is exactly what it means.

When Mugen first started the community was very small, very few were creators, when a creator was mad about feedback given for someone who was not skilled at creating they called them a "leecher", it was used as a mild insult and has stuck ever since.
