The Crazies
« on: November 29, 2009, 03:39:50 PM »
This is one of those George A. Romero movie remakes. The original was ok but this one looks "Kick A$$". I can't wait to see it. :YAY: W(- -)W W00T. Any thoughts on this one?

HOLY SH**

Yo YoungDragun You get props on this post man :worship: . wow. been waitin for this. Been knew it was comin but wasnt sure it would be good. They let me down with "Land of the dead"....remake Day of the dead was amusin but still coulda been way better. This looks like a stunna like The Dawn of the dead remake in 2004 man. I gotta see this. haha imma spread the word to my other horror fans i know....

so funny cuz i was watchin the old one on dvd a month ago. Funny i think thats the beginin of Dawn of the dead. The old one mention certain things like "Evans City" and other stuff and the movie was left in chaos. Just a thought tho. i seen the old one ages ago as a Kid.

That's what I call a good horror flick, when it can be believable. I saw it bootleg and it was not a good one, the dark scenes were too dark to tell what was going on but overall I really liked the remake.

dude, this looks frickin creepy. I can't wait to see this. I just watched the fourth kind and that one kind of messed with me. It wasn't scary, just believable. This looks cool though, thanks for showing me. I probably wouldn't have heard of it otherwise cause I don't have tv.

Well it's not a zombie movie. The story is a "What if" situation involving military chemical warfare, but the people don't die and reanimate, looking for live human flesh and brains to eat, while they rapidly decompose, they either turn into psychopathic killers with some physical distress or in this movie stay sane but become carriers of the disease. The original had a good story line but horrible acting, this one has better acting and the story line is very believable.

Well, I love zombie movies, and ones about governmental tyranny. As long as it has a good plot and keeps the corniness to a minimum, I'll be looking forward to it. I didn't even know there was an original though, so I'll probably go and...rent it so I can have a vague idea of what to expect. Off topic, but I still want to see that Book of Eli movie, I heard that one was really good.

The book of Eli was freaking incredible, it's a must see  W(- -)W

YD, you are right it's not really a traditional zombie movie at all. I guess what I should have said is, if you like the disease and mass paranoia/crazy mob angle of zombie movies, this has that

I didn't mean to step on you Spooky, sorry, :D'OH: I was just being more specific so that if someone is not a zombie movie fan like you or I will not get the impression that is is a zombie movie. It is similar but 100% believable, where as the zombie flicks or more gory and very far from believable.

:pittythefool: And yes "The Book of Eli" is the second best movie I have ever seen. It is so good I'm speechless. "Passion of the Christ" is my ultimate favorite and the best movie I have ever seen. :YAY:
