Music Covers
« on: August 15, 2009, 01:47:32 PM »
Well, the Music portion of CVG is having some, issues...Nobody seems to want to play here.... :(

But that hopefully is about to change. I am going to post some youtube videos for you...Maybe one a day. These will be covers of famous songs from all genres, well maybe not all, but a good chunk. Today I will post 2 for your listening pleasure. First up is a very well done cover of Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana by Christian Sly.

Christian Sly - Dirty Diana (Michael Jackson Cover)

The second video can be classified as a cover, but it is more so a guitar arrangement, and it is very well done, so I am going to count it as well. Sticking with the mini "MJ" theme, this is another hit for MJ...Billie Jean, as performed by Sungha Jung (arranged by Adam Rafferty):

(Michael Jackson) Billie Jean - Sungha Jung

Thank You!  8)

I thought you were making or posting music cover or something to that effect.

I have a lot of Ideas for this section but I need help for that. Like news on recent releases for each genre, Concert news, even celebrity hijinks.

Alright, here is another cover video for you guys, this is a cover of Hootie and The Blowfish's Let Her Cry, as covered by James Dupre. Now this guy has seriously got some mad skills, be sure to check out some of his other videos (he is more geared toward country though)

Another Day, another found cover. This one is a bit odd for a choice, which is kind of why I picked this one. This is a cover of Lady Gaga's Poker Face, as performed by Daughtry.

Alright, will do, but this one may not fall under the "awesome" or "great" category, but I found it incredibly intriguing. This is Nick Pitera covering a Disney classic from the movie "Aladdin", "A Whole New World".

 :-* Classic!

I much prefer some of the Lion King songs myself. Can never go wrong with those.  :)

Like "He Lives in You" from the Lion King 2.
