For those who are curious, yes I am gone and I don't intend to be back soon. I never formally said goodbye to you all, because that always becomes a forum stink. However, to my friends here, I wish you the best. Perhaps I'll be back one day but for now this is goodbye.

Amen to Slipknot sucking. I do have to give them a little credit though. They are what got me into hard rock, then I soon realized what a joke they were when I discovered bands like Botch, Every Time I Die, and Norma Jean. Those bands are just more my style I guess.

meh slipknot is metal in all technicality. They suck (aside from their drummer who deffinently knows what hes doing) but they still meet all the rules of the genre. It's just like kenny g sucks but still counts as jazz.

 >:( What is NOT metal is glam bands like kiss and motley crue and "numetal" bands like limp bizkit and korn

Well put. I still don't like them, but you're right though.

Another favorite of mine that I forgot to mention...Frank Sinatra. The man.

Weirdo!  :-*

Nah joking. They're classic raggae. I may be old but I remember those old washed up bands. Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer. Is Beastie Boys still doing their thing? Saw they had a movie out last year.
