X-Box Gold Questions
« on: January 04, 2010, 07:55:40 PM »
Alright, as a few of you may know, I have been seriously contemplating getting a Gold account. I was talking it over with my wife, and she wanted to know if she would be able to play online as well, and I wasn't 100% sure. I think the answer is no, and she would need her own gold account, else she would have to play on mine. Is that true, or is there a way for her to use the Gold features as well without getting 2 memberships (mind you, our profiles are on the same console.)

My wife is irritated about this as well...the answer is no. You have to have a gold account for every profile that you want online :(

Yeah, you cant. Its a saftey thing. Like not being able to transfer download content to other systems especially if not online.

Most games make you play on seperate systems too. but thats cause the designers of the game dont think about more than one person playing on the same system online.

Its still a good idea to get gold though. You cant play or chat any other way.
