Galactus
by N64Mario, kalangueb and Excursion

Galactus was a side WIP of mine I thought I would never complete for any game let alone myself. After working on Symbiote Onslaught, I wanted to see how far I could get on this version of Galactus. Some have said that he is "too bulky" for Galactus. Some have said he is too much like Apocalypse. He is exactly how I pictured him in a vs series game. kalangueb's original sprite captured this image I had in my mind from the second I saw him. So it began, my quest to make him into a full character. I want to thank kalangueb for his original sprite and permission to edit it. N64Mario is the other integral part of this equation. Without his ground work on Apocalypse, I would have had a tough time duplicating all of the moving parts. He has a semi-animated intro of him coming/lowering himself to earth on his ship's platform. Nothing spectacular, but it's an intro nonetheless.

I want to make something clear. Galactus is a boss character. Not much should be expected in terms of game play. He cannot combo. He cannot do many of the things you are used to in releases like some of our most recent releases like Wolvenom, Punisher, Rhino, Megaman X and others. Put him in your game, make him your end boss, and try to beat him :) I want to tweak his AI more. Future updates will address this and hopefully a couple more herald strikers.

Stage: Galactus Outpost, an edit of P.o.t.S. open source stage originally for Onslaught and a big thank you to EXShadow for the use of the large moon-like sprite in the top left corner of the screen. *

Music track Galactus Outpost Stage by Nilakantha & R@ce45.

As long as he's not as cheap as Onslaught, I'm pumped to fight him. It's just nice to be able to move and breath a little bit when fighting an opponent which is something you can't do with Onslaught. Also, I'm confused on what he said about taking out the floor for the stage. What did he mean by that? Sorry if that's a dumb question.
