A passion project from andersontavars finally comes to light with the release of the first beta of Hercules. This is done with much help from Team CVG.

Whats to come:
- Fix all bugs and alignment issues
- Update sprites with help of warecus
- Add more moves and sounds

wow! herc is a GREAT char (i suppose he was more a MYTH than a GREAT, but patience... :) )

Very nice character for a beta. He does need more sounds though...
The truth is out there, we're just too lazy to think about it.

I have a recording studio in my basement at home.. perhaps I could start making cutom sounds for chars... I can do plenty of voices, haha...

Great release!!!

One thing you can improve is the stripes on his back legs when he does the win stance, they are too straight

who was he coded by?

there seems to be a lot i don't like about it...

when you do the launcher... you jump right away even if you don't want to.... and if you dash towards hurc... he does a super jump... so every time you dash towards a AI controled Hurc, he superjumps...

and on the arm spining move... the hit clsn box's on it are way!! tooo big....

i think if the coding is re-vamped.... he would be a good character....

and like it was said before..... Sound.... some of you move in there you can use basic capcom sounds... instead of the defualt sound the DCvM template come with..

Well it's an Alpha, theres not even a shared palette. Think of it like you would Buyogs Sinestro, or Elektra. It's pretty much a novelty, or place holder for now. The sprites are no where near complete, and neither was his code. He was determined to release it, and so a few of us scrambled to make it a little more playable for now.

My advice to anyone who is looking for a complete character to wait for a future release.

alpha??? if it is an alpha then ok... but it says Beta1 in the title of the topic.
