CVG United Preview Week

Here is a special sneak preview of a new project you will find out more about in the future at CVG United.

bdcirck originally made a Super Skrull in MvC style that most of you are probably familiar with. The Kl'rt (Super Skrull) you see in the video is a total reinterpretation of that character into something all new and different. And I have to say it is a clear upgrade as he is incredible.

are all of the characters in the project gunna be SNK style spriting to match Kl'rt ?

Yes it will be SNK styled Spriting matching Kl'rt and also gameplay will be more like KOF2003 and less like MVC. This also means that some of the attacks now will be hypers and some will perform differently then the preview version. Also A few unique stages will be created for this game that comes straight from the comics.

Since I didn't like how my old one looked i also made a MVC version of it as shown in the preview.

Ive said it b4, it looks great to me, and totally origional. There's going to be MvC Nazi's that will gripe no doubt, but who cares? Mugen is about way more than MvC. I love the other sprites in the other game characters as well.

That is nice. I really dont care if it is SNK or MVC. A character is a charater that's the thing when it comes to MUGEN you can do what ever you want. I think that was the best base for him he really looks like him.

i'm a little bitter YouTube is being obstinate with me with the music. i can't record a smooth video anyway with normal sound so i have to rely on youtube adding music later. the audioswap feature on that video for some reason isn't working.

Hmm... that char is still pretty good, but it has a few elements that I think need adjustment.
I don't think that when he turns invisible he should be completely invis. It doesn't look right.
 It should also take him a little longer to activate a power like that its too fast so you can't stop him.
The projectiles are too fast. I saw that he spammed projectiles.  :P
I hate spammers. Makes the battle boring.


Other than that the sprite work is pretty good.  8)
I can't complain... yet.

You just need to stop being a n00b BT. Range spamming is one of the easiest strategies to get around. Jump over them; use a counter ranged attack as a shield to walk behind; use special dodges; roll at them when you get knocked over. There are so many ways around that strategy its almost futile. And if they have aggro counters it is futile.
